This program is an overview of roof drain construction when approaching reroofing in low slope applications and the introduction of the retrofit roof drain and its benefits. The importance of properly designed roof drainage, the 2015 International Plumbing Code in regards to roof drain flow code performance and the ANSI/SPRI RD-1 standard for retrofit roof drains will also be reviewed.

This program is an overview of dual component adhesives used in low slope roofing applications. The program will focus on the advantages, methods of installation, compatibility of substrates, and insulations with dual component adhesive attachment. ANSI/SPRI IA-1 2010 pull test method will also be discussed.

This course will review standard practices, achieve an understanding of why and how rooftop pipes actively move, the implications of pipe supports on commercial roofing systems and a review of the benefits of small engineered pipe supports.
